Description
IMPORTANT
Paying homage to the legacy of one of America's most important architects, this Bulova men's watch from the Frank Lloyd Wright Collection celebrates the iconic architect's Usonian homes. Usonia, short for "United States of America," was the term Frank Lloyd Wright coined to describe his vision of a new, affordable architecture that broke free from European conventions and adapted to the American landscape. Wright built approximately 60 Usonian homes and designed more than 140. Most of these homes featured unique geometric elements, used in skylights, windows, furniture, upholstery, and more.
This collector's timepiece features a 40mm gold-plated stainless steel case with an anti-reflective coated sapphire crystal and a deep burgundy leather strap, evoking the warmth of Usonian aesthetics. The black dial is constructed in multiple layers with cut-out markers inspired by the perforated triforium panels of Usonian houses, revealing a luminous layer of white Super-LumiNova beneath, as well as red and gold hour hands and an additional hour marker in Wright's signature red, highlighting the current time.
The watch is powered by a 21-jewel automatic movement with a 42-hour power reserve. Honor the legacy of the unique works of one of America's most prominent architects with this Bulova Frank Lloyd Wright men's watch, presented in an exclusive Bulova case with a special Frank Lloyd Wright storybook.
